Prof. Lijun Qian

Prof. Dr. Lijun Qian, got materials science Ph.D degree from Materials School, Beijing Institute of Technology at September 2007. At 2016, Prof. Dr. Lijun Qian did joint research with Prof. Bernhard Schartel at BAM, Germany. Prof. Dr. Lijun Qian is the Ph.D. supervisor, currently the vice-dean, professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Materials and Mechanical Engineering, Beijing University of Industry and Commerce. He is selected as Millions of talents in Beijing, scholars of the Great Wall and top-notch young talents in Beijing. He served as Secretary-General of the Strategic Alliance for Technological Innovation in the Flame Retardant Materials Industry, Deputy Secretary-General of China Federation of Petroleum and Chemical Industries.

Prof. Dr. Lijun Qian mainly engaged in the preparation and industrialization of environmentally friendly flame retardant additives and their flame retardant polymer materials. He has completed industrialization projects of brominated epoxy resin, brominated polystyrene, FR245, DOPO derivatives, high concentration melamine cyanurate, hexabromocyclododecane(HBCD) substitutes and so on, with a production value of more than 7 billion yuan; published more than 50 SCI papers as the first author or communication contacts; was authorized more than 30 national invention patents; published 2 academic works. As the project leader, he undertakes more than 40 research projects such as national key R&D plan, National Natural Science Fund surface project, youth fund, National 863 plan, Beijing Innovation Capability Promotion Plan, Beijing Youth Top Talents Project, Beijing Education Commission Key Project and Beijing Natural Science Foundation project, China-Israel cooperation project and enterprise-entrusted industry-university-research cooperation.
